HOW TO MAKE YOUR COLLECTIONS(FAVS) PRIVATE
HIII!
As I have noticed through journals around on dA many are upset about the new update where people can see what you put into your collections.
They dont see your normal favs.
As well as this is great exposure for those artists that get their stuff faved, some people don´t want people to see their feitshes or the like!
HOW DO I DISABLE IT SO PEOPLE CAN´T SEE WHAT I FAV/COLLECT!?
Simply go you your Favs, then into your COLLECTION FOLDER
1. CLICK ON COLLECTION OPTIONS.
2. CLICK DISABLE WATCHING.
And your done! Privacy is back! ♥♥♥♥
Hope it helps! ~kissinguplz (https://www.deviantart.com/kissinguplz)
I've just spoken to someone and the important reason that the Deviantart Classic has to go and here's what he or she told me.
"Aside from that, if they were to throw away 3 or possibly more years of development and quite a lot of money sank into it, and cancel Eclipse to keep the old version, we would not get any new features, as it has been for years. The site would slowly break, especially on newer devices, as the code is a patchwork of 20 years - already visible in the broken submit to group menus on deviations, several categories no longer being able to be uploaded to, etc. They would continue to go bankrupt, as they had been struggling

Eclipse: A Devious Experience
The dreaded "switch" day for Eclipse has arrived, and I honestly feel as though I have lost a dear friend... I just wanted to highlight a few things that would help make the current experience better (besides having the old, trusty, beautiful tried and true layout back), I feel you all— but we all know Eclipse is here to stay, so the best thing we can do is keep offering insightful and helpful feedback. I wish to express that most of Eclipse is still "new" to me, because, to be frank, I refused to use the interface until today because I am 100% old school, old hat, been-here-since-dirt-early days (well, not that early, but 14-15 years is still well past a decade), so— I make no qualms about expressing my preference for the older layout. That said, I am trying my best to experiment and give it a chance, primarily because I love DeviantART so much and refuse to allow my beloved Literature Community to die. My Initial Observations: :pointr: I prefer my "old school" stats. I am one
What We're Working On at DeviantArt by team, journal
What We're Working On at DeviantArt
DeviantArt, like any major website, is a perpetual work-in-progress—there will always be things to improve and innovate. Every day, we get tons of great feedback from the community, including a lot of ideas we want to see implemented too. In an ideal world, new products and features could be done all at once, but the resources needed to make those updates happen are finite. Because of that, we prioritize what to work on and in what order, so that various teams can align on what is being done and how, resulting in products and features being built and released effectively. Many factors determine how things get prioritized, including our vision for the site’s future, technical needs and resources, community requests, impact a product or feature will have on the overall health of the community, and of course, data. The impact is especially important because of the vastness of the community—we have to make sure functional needs are met for professionals and hobbyists, sellers and buyers
It took some time to brew up but we've opened our own Discord channel! Why? We want to talk to you! The deviantArt chat and note options are great to touch base with each other and share information, but we heard from many of you that you already use Discord for chatting and events, so now you can reach us there too. What is CRLit on Discord? A place you can chat to each other, to admins, and to Literature CVs. Another way to share your deviations and recommend your favorites from other artists A spot to hang out for chat events like DD Discussion and LitCrit What About CRLit on dA? We'll still be posting our journals, contests, deviations, and everything else right here. DeviantArt is our first and last stop for all things CRLit, so don't worry. We aren't going anywhere! How to Get Involved? We'll be hosting our very first CV meet and greet this Saturday, July 18th from 9am PDT until 12pm PDT. Come by, say hi, and stay to chat all things dA Literature! Stash, Drafts, and Lit Submissions in Eclipse by Zara-Arletis, journal
Stash, Drafts, and Lit Submissions in Eclipse
Are you a dA writer having some trouble with the Eclipse transition? You aren't alone! Eclipse has changed a lot for literature submissions.
Let's start with changes to sta.sh
Sta.sh used to have a Compose in Sta.sh Writer button allowing you to write, format, and post all from one spot. Now, you can only upload files when in sta.sh or edit documents you created via the Submit Literature option. Uploading documents is a great option if you have a specific format or layout you want to preserve. You can upload your literature deviation as a pdf, downloadable doc, or an image file to maintain exactly the look you've crafted.

Red Robot: Quick Bio (Latest Edition)
The Protagonist of Strange Adventures
“Ancient History? Ha! Well I’ll admit I’m pretty old, ace.”
Red Robot is a brave and good-hearted alien who stands 12-inches tall and is over 780 years old. Due to his past as a soldier, he’s an expert in combat and acrobatics. Red works as an adventurer in Autumn City these days, and is always willing to lend a hand when it comes to stopping villains and rescuing others.
{-Combat-}
Red is a speedster who excels at shooting fireballs (he can morph one of his arms into a gun), and he's also skilled in martial arts. However, Red's melee is more about dexterity and lacks ex
